Counter-Mine System
Dismounted Soldiers: Ground-to-Ground
To support dismounted warfighters, Archangel is developing counter-mine munitions that are compatible with grenade launchers in the current military inventory. Intended for squad, platoon, and company operations, these munitions are designed to defeat hidden explosive devices with low lethality to humans. The technology is easily scalable for larger targets such as vehicle- and water-borne threats.

UAV-Borne Response Systems: Air-to-Ground
Hidden explosives are a major threat in today’s asymmetric battlefield. At present, small Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) carry an array of sensors to detect these devices but cannot attack them. Instead, large and expensive munitions are applied through a multi-level chain of communication/command. To meet the need for an immediate tactical response, Archangel Systems is investigating a combination of proprietary IMU and counter-mine technology. The resulting munitions will be a compact guided weapon launched directly from the UAV and commanded by the UAV operator
Anti-Swarm Response Systems: Air-to-Air / Ground-to-Air It is anticipated that peer-level enemies will develop large fleets of inexpensive UAVs to launch in such quantity that traditional response tactics will be either inadequate or too costly to maintain. Archangel Systems’ counter-mine technology can be applied to this battlefield scenario, using either ground launched or air launched platforms.
