Archangel Systems, Inc. announced today that it has named Mr. Bill Dillard its Director of Emerging Technologies.  He will be responsible for expanding Archangel’s position in navigation and orientation systems for airframes and personnel and for developing counter munitions for IED defeat and short range air defense.

Mr. Dillard was previously the Associate Director of Engineering at Archangel, working on and directing projects including:  a navigation grade MEMS Inertial Measurement Unit (Defense Advanced Research Project Agency), a Body Orientation Sensing System (U.S Department of Transportation), and a Head Alignment & Orientation System (U.S. Air Force).
